Job Summary:
Looking for full- or part-time employees to work 4-5 months making outbound calls to recruit insurance agents/agencies who sell or want to sell Individual/Family Plans to eligible prospects. Ideal candidates will have sales knowledge & recruitment experience or be willing to learn. The 5-month goal is to increase the number of selling agents in Berwick’s downline. Those employees who demonstrate success in recruitment may be offered a permanent position when the temporary assignment ends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recruiting agents to contract w/ Berwick Insurance in order to sell IFP plans to consumers
- Outbound / cold calls to insurance agents
- Promote Berwick benefits to agent/agency partners
- Work to achieve recruitment goals to maximize company growth
- Model a high-level of professionalism and integrity with every interaction
Required Qualifications:
➢ High School diploma / College Education a plus
➢ Proven sales experience and/or Cold Calling
➢ High level of Integrity & Competitive Team-player
➢ Assertive, Goal-oriented, Positive & Self-motivated
➢ Excellent Communication Skills
➢ Ability & Desire to learn
➢ Adapt quickly in fast-paced environment
➢ Professional Demeanor & Personal Accountability
➢ Ability to work flexible schedule, if nec.
Preferred Qualifications:
➢ Sales Experience, a plus
➢ Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus
➢ Proven ability to Close Sales
➢ College Degree, a plus
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
