Role and Responsibilities
The Recruiter is responsible for meeting hiring goals established by Belmar Pharma Solutions. The recruiter is responsible for working with hiring managers to determine departmental staffing needs, creating, and posting job requisitions, sourcing, and screening for qualified and diverse applicants, and coordinating the interview process. Working with the hiring manager, the recruiter will facilitate offers of employment to include negotiating the appropriate salary, creating the offer letter, facilitating background and drug screening, scheduling start dates and new hire orientation.
Responsibilities include:
· Consults with the hiring manager to understand the requirements, duties and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
· Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
· Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
· Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interview phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
· Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process
· Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events and other networking opportunities.
· Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine if an offer of employment can be made; collects feedback when a placement is unsuccessful.
· Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and hiring managers when necessary.
· Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
· Performs other HR duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 1+ years of recruiting, human resources or related experience required.
· Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
· Excellent organization and multitasking skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office software, email, internet, HR Software systems
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
preferred skills
· Recruiting experience in a manufacturing, production, or pharmaceutical environment
Additional Notes
· Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager,
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer and on the phone.
· Must be able to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, phone/headset, or other technology devices as assigned.
