Reporting to the Manager of Security is responsible for welcoming patients, family members and visitors to the main hospital and provides information regarding particular services, units or patients. Creates an atmosphere in the hospital that is calm, caring and efficient.Part-Time
8 hours per week
Position Responsibilities
- Welcomes patients, family members and visitors as they enter the main hospital and helps them find a particular service or unit. Provides directions and/or maps as needed, directing people to the public elevators to reach units floors with specific services.
- Provides appropriate information in person or over the phone to patients, family members and visitors, accessing as needed the desktop computer to retrieve the location of patients.
- Distributes visitor passes and ID badges to Vendors.
- May provide assistance in the parking lot or turn-around with a wheelchair.
- Keeps the visitor pass cart filled and organized.
- Empties the return visitor pass bin when full and cleans visitor pass clips.
- Conforms to the established Standards of Conduct and Behavior.
- May be asked to assist Security with Security desk duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma
- 1 year of previous job-related experience
