Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Lead cross-functional troubleshooting teams to efficiently and effectively solve highly complex and urgent problem situations affecting our customers in terms of system reliability & system performance
Establish and provide global standard training and coaching program to enhance problem solving capabilities of the entire organization and Dematic suppliers and partners
Act as face to customer for lessons learned initiatives and communicate Dematic plans for improvement
Definition, planning, implementation, and control of global initiatives to close process – or standards – gaps and prevent re-occurrence of quality related problems
Streamline quality continuous improvement initiatives with other excellence functions globally
Drive KPI analytics to detect potential quality related business risks on an early stage and derives risk mitigation actions such as Cost-of-Poor-Quality and Problem-Resolution-Speed
Ownership and continuous enhancement of processes, tools and standards for problem solving and issue prevention across regions and functions
Support global Root Cause Analysis affecting regional suppliers, factories, or customers
What We are Looking For:
BA or BS degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering
5+ years’ experience in senior quality role in project-based business (preferred supply chain solutions, engineering, project management, resale procurement)
Experience with training and application of various quality methods, such as Kepner Tregoe Problem Solving, RCA, FTA, 8D, Continuous Improvement, and audits
Work experience in international project environment
Project Quality Management in project-based business environment
Lean Six Sigma certification with Black Belt or Master preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Negotiation and presentation background in challenging environment
Experience working in a matrixed organization with oversight of quality standards for multiple large project sites
Strong analytical skills and data – driven decision making
