The purpose of this position is to participate in nursing care by planning, coordinating, providing and evaluating care for clients in their homes, including administering medications, doing treatments, assessing clients, communicating with physicians and families, directing direct care staff for the client’s well-being.

Requirements/Job Duties:

• Must be vaccinated against COVID 19 with current up to date record or have a qualifying medical or religious exemption.
• Able to work in a team setting and independently as well.
• Graduate from an accredited professional school of nursing.
• A valid and current RN License in good standing from the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
• Proposes appropriate support services
• Arranges for the services the client agrees to
• Participates in On Call rotation for clients as scheduled by the Warm Hearth at Home administrator
• Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures and all regulatory and licensure requirements
• Maintains strong positive relationships with clients and family members
• Reviews and responds to significant client incidents and occurrence reports
• Provides guidance and helps lead families to the actions and decision that ensure quality care through assessment and monitoring, planning and problem solving, education and advocacy, and provides caregiver coaching
• Prior experience in home health and/or equivalent experience with OASIS documentation

Shifts/Hours/Schedules:

• Various days and hours depending on client’s needs.

Benefits:

• We offer a robust benefits package with a low-cost HSA plan for Full Time employees. Part Time employees are offered dental and vision.
• Full Time employees earn four weeks of PTO per year and have access to 5 days (40 hours) of PTO upon hire.
• Part Time employees are two weeks of PTO per year and have access to 3 days (24 hours) of PTO upon hire.
• Access to our gorgeous, state-of-the-art fitness center and saltwater pool.
• $50.00 reimbursement for annual medical exams and $25.00 reimbursement for annual dental visit with enrollment with our insurance plans.
• Extra PTO added for perfect attendance per quarter.
• Mental/Emotional wellness support with Carilion EAP (Employee Assistance Program).

Compensation:

• The starting base rate for this position is competitive.

What to expect your first week with Warm Hearth Village:

• Complete PPD/COVID Testing
• New Hire Orientation program

What to expect your first 90 days with Warm Hearth Village:

• Job enlargement
• 90 Performance Evaluation
• Receive CPR and First Aid training if not already

What to expect your first year with Warm Hearth Village:

• Eligibility for scholarship programs to pay for other certifications and college education
• Participate in various committees and focus groups on campus.

Dress Code:

• Dress Code is scrub pants, scrub top or appropriate WHV t-shirt, and closed toe non-slip shoes.
