What will I do as a Quotations Analyst?
- Research, develop, and provide price quotes on products for customers.
- Interpret customer prints to construct the Build of Materials (BOM) list and collaborate with the Engineering team to validate the Build of Materials.
- Build relationships with customer engineering personnel through effective communication.
- Actively pursue competitive advantages for project business.
- Present information on costing and pricing regularly to management for review and approval.
- Demonstrate professionalism when representing the company in all communications with internal and external customers and vendors.
- College-level coursework in a technical or financial field or 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid math skills and the ability to read prints.
- Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision
- Excellent interpersonal communication (listening), customer contact skills, and phone etiquette.
- Decision-making and problem resolution skills. Ability to track and report on the success of programs.
- Advanced computer skills and aptitude, Microsoft Office preferred, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
