Quick Lane Technician

Pennington Ford in Centralia seeks a full-time QUICK LANE TECHNICIAN for our busy dealership. The right candidate will have strong mechanical, as well as customer service skills. Previous quick lane/express lube experience required. Must also be able to follow company safeguards, regulations, policies and procedures.

Duties Include:

• General repairs.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required.
• Brake pads/shoes replacement and rotor machining.
• All suspension repairs and/or alignments.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
• Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
