Position Summary

The Quality Tech works with the Quality Manager to plan, organize, direct, and work process of the quality improvement program. Essential responsibilities include:

  • Directs work expectations of Quality
  • Prioritizes quality improvement activities
  • Monitor compliance from vendors of raw material
  • Utilizes quality improvement training, activities, and policies
  • Inspect products of manufactured components for flaws, defects, and non-conformance to specifications
  • Ensure production process meets industry standards
  • Create reports of quality failures and analyzes the data to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage all documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality
  • Develop performance improvement targets for quality
  • Conduct surveys to solicit feedback
  • Perform statistical analysis and data analysis
  • Oversee quality control audits
  • Demonstrates problem solving, leadership, conflict management, and team building skills in productive team environment
  • Performs other duties as needed

Requirements

Candidates should be self-starters with a positive attitude and an ability to work well with others. Must possess good mathematical skills, precision measurement, and good computer and communication skills. Candidates' work history will be evaluated for safety, quality, attendance, and efficiency. Two years’ experience or five years of work experience in the manufacturing quality arena and demonstrated success of continuous improvement. In depth exposure to ISO-9001 accreditation
