Quality Manager Job at Kosmos Corp
Growing established Manufacturing firm in Dayton, Ohio has a need for a Quality Manager.
Duties:
Responsible for maintaining the quality systems of two die casting facilities to ensure efficient production of die castings that meet customer demands. Supervise and direct quality department staff on all shifts. Communicate with customers and suppliers on quality issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Maintain existing company certifications to IATF and ISO 14001 standards. Assist in problem solving, meeting quality objectives, corrective and preventive actions, process improvements, and defect detection. Manage the company's internal audit process. Manage external audits by customers and outside auditors. Communicate and assist production supervisors in solving quality issues. Cross trained to perform duties of CMM operators and Quality Engineer as needed. Access customer portals to address issues and obtain scorecards. Evaluate and report on the cost of quality.
Requirements:
3+ years as a Quality Manager or Lead Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment. BS degree preferred but not required.
