Our client in Newark, DE is looking to hire 2nd Shift Quality Inspectors/Finishers. This is a temp to hire, entry level position.

OT required after training. Must be flexible moving between departments after training based on need.

Monday – Friday, some mandatory Saturday’s (4 hours)

2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (OT added on end of shift)

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assembling equipment pertaining to each job according to part size and type/condition of parts (measuring devices, copper wire, plastic ties, etc.)
• Retrieving specifications for each job from specification manuals
• Using sanding and buffing machines (Frequent checks with calipers to ensure CSD is within specifications)
• Data tracking and data entry
• May need to size parts with use of sizing mandrels and bands in a hot oven
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Sit for extended periods of time
• Accurately, and precisely, use hand tools
• Good hand/eye coordination and strong attention to detail
• Read, write, and interpret written instructions and numerically stated specifications
• Must be able to work overtime and be flexible between departments
• Lift up to 35 lbs
