Merrimack College's School of Health Sciences is currently seeking candidates for a number of Graduate Fellowship positions in the areas of Health Promotion and Public Health. This is a 9 month accelerated academic and experiential program with a half-tuition waiver awarded to successful candidates.

In order to be considered for a fellowship you must apply to one of our 3 eligible Master of Science programs: Community Health Education, Exercise and Sport Science, or Health and Wellness Management.

We are looking to fill a number positions with our partner sites for the 2023-24 academic year. Past partners have included:

• North Andover and Andover Public Health Departments
• Vinfen, Employee Wellness
• MIT Community Wellness Office
• Merrimack College Health Science Research Positions
• Andover Community Center
• Lawrence General Hospital Population Health
• Spaulding Rehabilitation Adaptive Sports Program
• Nutrition in Motion

Example of Position Responsibilities:

• Support the wellness program office
• Implement new and existing wellness programming (e.g., stress relief, walkability programming, wellness fairs, financial capability, and more
• Create needs assessments
• Complete program evaluations
• Design and execute community-based projects

Position Requirements:

• Enrollment in one of our 3 Master of Science degree programs: Community Health Education, Health and Wellness Management, or Exercise and Sport Science.
• Willingness to learn the field of health promotion and public health
• Punctuality
• Time management
• Professionalism
