Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Psychologist.
Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide medical screening and waiver recommendations for initial entry applicants for Army Service.
  • Conduct behavioral health consults for applicants as part of the waivers process
  • Complete training and demonstrate proficiency within the MHS-Genesis platform, as well as other computerized resources necessary for the performance of the role.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding of accessions standards IAW DoDI 6130.03 and AR 40-501, as well as other accessions-related policy for the Department of Defense and the Army.
  • Follow annual refresher training pertaining to the use of the Electronic Medical Record, HIPAA, Cyber Awareness.
  • Provide Accessions Medical Waiver Recommendations.
  • Formulate a waiver recommendation.
  • Review all applicant case materials.
  • Employ medical decision making to formulate a recommendation to the Command Surgeon whether or not to grant a medical waiver.
  • The Contractor shall obtain all pertinent medical documentation used to determine prescreen accession status as well as accession medical waiver recommendations in accordance with regulatory guidance.
  • Conduct the face-to-face consult via Microsoft Teams Army 365, or other accepted and secure system as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience executing sound professional medical judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups.
  • Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently.
  • Structured problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use multiple communication methods (written/visual) to work with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts/relationships, including senior level managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
  • Must have one year of supervised clinical experience at an APA accredited internship program that provides psychological services under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist as required by the Association of Psychology and Postdoctoral Internship Center (APPIC).
  • Be in good standing and hold an unrestricted license issued from a state or territory licensing board of the United States of America.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad based clinical background is helpful, but not mandatory.
  • Military experience is helpful, but not required.


The salary range for this position is $114,000/yr to $130,000/yr.
