Job Location: Waynesville, North Carolina
Job Summary: Meridian is now seeking a full time, office-based Psychiatric Services Scheduling Coordinator. Scheduling Coordinator will work as part of the psychiatric team performing clerical duties to meet the goal of providing behavioral health care. This position is responsible for processing all new referrals, scheduling and providing reminder calls for all psychiatric appts, including coordinating rapid access to care, and other administrative tasks to support client care.

- Excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with the general public
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Approach work with superior levels of commitment, integrity and customer service
- Dependability, flexibility and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- Ability to travel to other office locations when needed
- 2 years medical office experience preferred
