Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a part-time Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker who is responsible for providing comprehensive supports and training to consumers wishing to further their recovery from mental illness by participating in site-based or mobile services.
Corner Connections is a Psychiatric Rehabilitation program that assists individuals living with mental illness build skills to support their goals through ongoing person-centered classes. Psych Rehab provides recovery-based services that assist individuals to develop, enhance, and retain skills in living, working, learning and socializing so they can live in, and participate in, the community. A structured curriculum provides the opportunity to learn and practice skills in a variety of domains.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalency;
- two years' work experience in a human service related field, which must include one year of mental health direct care experience/
- Bachelor's degree in a human service related field preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel 25-50% of the time in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits. Must have access to or own a vehicle which will enable staff to carry out the duties assigned, including transporting consumers (does not transport in own vehicle, but in agency van).
