Property Manager / Sexton Job at Christ Church Andover
Christ Church, an Episcopal Church in Andover, Massachusetts, is seeking a part-time sexton. The sexton is a combination of a property manager and provider of janitorial services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for and knowledge of buildings and systems and be highly organized and able to work well within the staff team as well as with volunteer leadership and the general membership of the church. The candidate will possess skills such as painting and light carpentry repair and will be willing to identify building needs. The sexton will work with outside contractors to address needs as they arise. The candidate will also work closely with the Rector (head pastor), staff, and property committee for the upkeep of the church campus and to ensure that church spaces are prepared for the many events that occur throughout the week.
