Job Description:
SILER YARD APARTMENTS, located in SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, owned by Texas Inter-Faith Management, a non-profit organization affiliated with the affordable housing industry is seeking an outgoing and persuasive Property Manager_ to oversee the day-to-day operations of the community. The successful candidate will thrive in a changing environment and respond positively to unpredictable situations or problems that can occur throughout their work responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: _

• Willingness to understand, analyze, and evaluate financial statements and write reports in a clear, concise form.
• Oversee, approve and prepare all lease-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition through site tours/visits and telephone surveys. Prepare marketing reports as required.
• Clearly and effectively communicate with residents, other employees, vendors, and supervisors in written and verbal form.
• Achieve the highest possible net operating income through the implementation of effective cost control, revenue maximization, and delinquency management program.
• Take reasonable efforts to see that property complies with all state, federal, and local laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the business.
• Maintain high customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of affordable property management experience with a strong understanding of Low Income Housing, HUD, Vouchers, and other funding sources; as well as compliance in this area.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Positive attitude.
• GREAT customer service!
• Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and very detail-oriented
