Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Project Scheduler in the Abilene, TX area to work for a top utility and energy company. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7 am-4 pm; the possibility of OT but rare.
• Some travel required (15%) for trainings, meetings and field visits.

Responsibilities:

• Develop fully integrated resource loaded and levelized Transmission Field Services (TFS) work schedules that optimize maintenance work plans, capital outage work, and other TFS work activities using Transmission approved scheduling software and tools.
• Comply with the Transmission Outage Management Business Rules and Processes.
• Manage TFS outage requests.
• Assist in organizing, coordinating and attending outage coordination meetings.
• Coordinate changes to the work schedule when an outage needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
• Assist in prioritizing outage reservations to optimize the benefit to company both in reliability and earnings.
• Develop, review, and present statistical reports related to work scheduling and adherence, crew utilization, etc.
• Coordinate and conduct meetings with other sections/departments covering scheduling, staffing and outages.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management and 3 years of experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Tools and MS SharePoint.
• Ability to read and interpret one line station diagrams and transmission line switching diagrams for an electrical substation.
• Knowledge about electric power systems, relays, electrical control circuitry or telecommunication.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
