Job Description:

This is a full-time, technically oriented-professional exempt position. A project manager in this position will be responsible for leading team(s) to deliver project(s) that span across multiple software solutions in the ELLKAY product suite to support our growing Health Care Delivery customer base. This includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Project Manager – has the authority to run each project on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for establishing and cultivating a positive working relationship with each customer from an implementation perspective. The project manager is also providing direction, coordination, and control of the project while remaining aligned with the commitments and goals of the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful implementation of data transfer projects for multiple migration and archive solutions in the ELLKAY product suite.
  • Provide leadership for the project team to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Work with customers to develop a comprehensive migration strategy including goals, extraction plans, and validation of migrated data.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure overall success of the customer implementation.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one or more initiatives simultaneously.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources in adherence to ELLKAY’s prescribed project methodology
  • Follow prescribed policies, procedures, and processes for a successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, scope changes, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication, both oral and written.
  • Set and manage appropriate expectations both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate and work with cross functional teams effectively, with a focus on organizational goals.
  • Ability to meet stated customer-initiated deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Healthcare domain experience /knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience in clinic or hospital-based applications and workflows.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Process-oriented with quality mindset, strong organization and planning skills with ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • Strong skills with critical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated organization and planning abilities.
  • Experience leading multiple large-scale projects.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Third Party Administration (TPA), healthcare payer or provider services industry.
  • Experience improving/developing and documenting internal Project Management processes – providing suggestions on process improvement and working with the team to iron out bottlenecks within the PM Process.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • PMP Certification preferred, but not required.
