Local Manufacturer is seeking a technically oriented Sales Project Manager to be principal interface with incoming customer requests for quotes and product information.

We are looking for a skilled Estimator/Project Manager to perform a variety of estimating, scheduling, project follow up tasks focusing on responding timely to all customer inquiries.

Responsibilities include costing of projects using our excel based spreadsheets also use our manufacturing software programs to process business transactions including estimates to customers & check on status of projects. A successful candidate will be familiar with accounting processes including gross margin tracking, cost review & change orders.

Ultimately, a successful applicant will ensure that the company’s responses to customers are provided accurately and timely and tracked to ensure all correspondence is responded to properly.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent support working with the sales department to meet customer needs
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain customer documents and records
• Assist Sales Manager in tracking and responding timely to all requests
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner- issuing change orders for scope of work revisions
• Daily enter key data of estimates and tracking in database
• Evaluate incoming requests for quotations & enter thru system to provide consistent costing
• Assist in project management of each order rec’d thru the process until successful shipment and/or installation
• Constantly update job knowledge

Requirements

• Provide proven ability to work with customers in professional & timely manner primarily thru phone & email
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
• Requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to multi task
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to learn product and priority management of workload
• Critical to work as a team member with coworkers
• Must have proven record of strong work ethics & dedication to provide consistent and quality service level to our customers
• Associate’s degree or relevant certification
