Project Manager, Navy Programs


Tridant Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support our team in Pt. Mugu NAWC, California.

**This is a hybrid position; employment is contingent on successfully passing a background and drug screening**

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Executes project IAW contract and performance requirements.
  • Establishes program work approach; develops operational procedures and assigns program and individual responsibilities.
  • Reviews QC and program performance documentation and provides issue resolution, if needed.
  • Assures that the program performance requirements and deliverables are met by collaborating and managing Tridant Team Leads and team members.
  • Collaborates and partners with the government to assure all performance goals exceed requirements and acts with a sense of urgency to government requests.
  • Assists with the selection of team members and subcontractors who possess the knowledge, education, certifications, and experience required to fulfill contractual requirements.
  • Prepares monthly and other reporting for submittal to the government and Tridant Executive Team.
  • Assures expenditures are controlled and within budget for programs.
  • Assists with the preparation of financial documentation,
  • Assists with document management.
  • Research and seek out potential opportunities for growth
  • Interacts with government and team as needed; provides weekly status reports.
  • Attends all required meetings with Tridant Team Members and/or the government
  • Works on projects and matters of limited complexity in a support role.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


Requirements

  • Two (2) years of project management experience with federal government contracts, preferably Navy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering, OR in lieu of degree, 3-5 years of recent and relevant work experience.
  • Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to develop excellent relationships with team and customers.
  • Must be enthusiastic, ‘go getter’ and ready to learn
  • Reports to Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager


Location and Hours of Service:

  • Location; Port Hueneme/Oxnard, California
  • Hours of Service: This is a full-time (40 hours or more/week) (OR part-time considered) position working from 6:00 AM –6:00 PM, Monday – Friday (excluding corporate holidays)
  • This is a hybrid position; the work schedule will include work conducted remotely, in-office and primarily at Navy locations in Ventura county office location. MUST BE LOCAL TO VENTURA CTY
  • Services may occasionally be required on evenings (outside of normal business hours) or weekends as needed and or to accommodate associated deadlines.
