Job purpose
This person will take ownership of creative projects from inception to execution—plan, monitor, and deliver successful projects that are on time and meet or exceed project objectives. This person will keep the creative team organized and efficient and will be in frequent collaboration with other teams across the company. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnership across teams to determine and understand company-wide priorities and needs. This role requires having clarity of tasks and duties, delivering high-quality products and services, managing multiple priorities and taking the initiative.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review and assess all incoming project requests for the Design Team to determine what content support is needed.
- Collaborate with other teams across the company and delegate specific tasks to respective members of the Creative Team.
- Keep projects on track through management of workflow, clear task lists, due dates, regular follow-ups, status reports, and meeting notes.
- Drive process for completion of projects and deliverables.
- Frequent syncs with team members to track progress, assess risks, and stay consistently informed on team progress.
- Work collaboratively with team leadership and other project managers to identify discrepancies, offering resolutions, roadblocks, and areas of improvement—be the eyes and ears of the Creative Team.
- Provide regular reporting to the Associate Director and clients on project statuses and daily happenings, and frequent updates to other teams involved in the projects.
- Oversee workload capacity within the Design Team.
- Manage project management software, making suggestions for best creative project management software (currently using Asana).
- Develop project intake processes and efficient communication processes to allow managers easy project updates.

Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of creative work scope, flows and graphic design processes
- Can thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, critical and exacting work environment with little delegation and with a focus on timely, correct results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with other teams in the organization.
- Strong yet kind personality with a positive attitude to help motivate and support teams.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Ability to work and problem solve with complex project management software.
- Proficient in project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Slack)
- Flexible attitude to balance between long term plans and fast-emerging & evolving needs.
- Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Makes decisions based on careful understanding of all available information; has and takes serious considerations for all sides of the issue/problem.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to foresee project crises and lead in strategically solving them while also proactively initiating processes that will improve the department, workflow, and team as a whole.
- Self-starter who can manage projects autonomously, while collaborating with Creative leadership as well as cross-functional teams.
- Leads with high expectations and has a high degree of review following each task.
Working conditions
This is an in-office position. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time, but a standing desk is available while in office.
