Service Master Restore by First Response in West Sacramento is looking to add a detail oriented Project Estimator Assistant to their team. This position will assist with estimates, inspections, sketches of jobs, help to prepare a variety of reports, and communicate with customers as needed.

Job Duties:

• Performs administrative tasks to support the estimating department, project managers, and field employees
• Assists the Project Estimator with inspections, estimates, and sketches of jobs
• Maintains various estimating and project logs
• Maintain records of estimated and actual costs
• Improves project workflow by successfully developing schedules for projects
• Tracks project labor and materials
• Assists with obtaining sketches and submittals
• Interacts with the staff, owners, subcontractors, and their representatives in a professional manner
• Orders supplies and equipment as requested by the Project Estimator
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers/internal contacts by consistently providing outstanding customer service
• Ensures that all compliance requirements are met for each job
• Maintains and ensures job file completeness by ensuring appropriate information entered; fills in missing information as needed with correct information
• Promotes safety at the job site
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience and understanding of construction industry and/or damage restoration
• Associate's degree in construction management or engineering preferred
• Previous experience with Xactimate software
