Job Description
We are looking for a responsible Project Engineer to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.
Key Reponsabilities
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
- Coordinate and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Coordinate with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Help prepare budgets
- Analyze risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures since most projects will include this area´s assistance
- Guarantee that all appropriate legal paperwork is completed (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Work with the Operational Transformation Manager to eliminate blockers
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
- Attend recurring meetings with support managers and/or directors, owning takeaways, requests and action item
- Assist in any other project assignments as approved through the Director of Transformation and Excellence
Key Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator/Engineer or similar role
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills, including time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
- Hands-on experience with Monday.com, Asana or other project management tools
- Certification sin Six Sigma or similar.
- Knowledge in accelerated project management (SCRUM or similar).
- BSc in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus
