PROJECT COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
What we Do or Who Are we: Our Shore Power System was designed and developed with the cruise line back in 2004 here in Seattle, Washington. We are a Shore Power Developer, Operator and Maintainer for Cruise Ship Shore Power Systems located throughout North America. Our systems help reduce the local emissions while cruise ships are at port. This position is focused on the maintenance, operation, and coordination of 10 patented shore power systems. Our proprietary database is essential to organizing the ship calls and reporting tools used to inform our customers of the emission reductions during a ship call. The Watts Marine Project Coordinator – Supports and maintains Marine operations as described below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the duties associated with being a Watts Marine Project Coordinator. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
1. Demonstrate flexibility when performing job duties whenever volume and requests for services require. Ability to pitch in where necessary.
2. Represent Watts Marine with the highest of professional standards to all our partners and customers.
3. Reliable and regular attendance and availability during core business hours.
4. Responsiveness to department, team, and customers.
5. Ability to implement a team-oriented philosophy and approach when dealing with projects, co-workers, and customers.
6. Build and manage shore power connection schedules for all sites.
7. Maintain master calendar with updated connection information
8. Manage and coordinate connection schedules with sub-contractors.
9. Maintain the database and manage any new processes as they come.
10. Develop and submit year end emission reports to the customers.
11. Perform ship / Cruise Line research, when needed.
12. Review and send out daily connection reports to Port Officials and Cruise Line personnel accordingly.
13. Maintain the Watts Marine Cruise Line poster.
14. Assist the department with marketing efforts
15. Preparation of monthly billings including additional billings, change orders and ensuring that such billings are completed and correctly prepared.
16. Update job folders
17. Prepare and answer emails and traditional correspondence with customers, potential customers and other relevant third parties.
18. Assist Accounts Receivable, as necessary.
19. Generate new PO’s and manage the financial part of the project as necessary.
20. Prepare and format proposals per direction of Project Manager utilizing Marine templates.
21. Fill out prelim information for new jobs, when needed.
22. Manage documents to ensure filing is completed in the correct folders, the latest Watts Marine logo / format template is being used and documents reviewed before sent out.
23.this position is heavy on scheduling and coordination as well as communication to the field and customers. Must be able to multi task and jump around where needed.

Education/Experience
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
Ability to read and interpret basic documents in English; Ability to write basic correspondence.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, database entry, accounting software and project management. Ability to learn new software on the fly and implement quickly.
