Z-Modular is seeking a Project Accountant for the Chandler, AZ manufacturing plant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4-years construction accounting experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field
• Positive, team player attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong technical computer skills with ability to quickly learn new systems and leverage technology to improve process
• Knowledge of AIA billings – G702 &G703
• Must be proficient in excel and have experience with SAP, MS D365 or similar ERP systems

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Manage Projects from an overall accounting standpoint
• Collect and track compliance documents
• Manage workflow of client billings from pencil draws to funding packages within required deadlines
• Process prime contract change order requests from project management team, package and submit for Internal execution
• Review subcontractors pay applications
• Enter and process purchase order requests
• Prepare review costs vs. billed amounts for each project
• Proactively apply problem solving techniques in supporting team requirements
• Effectively collaborate with colleagues and project team members
• Other duties as assigned or needed
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Remain in stationary position for the majority of the day.
• Occasional movement inside the office to for meetings and to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs
• Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
