Job Description
LST is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Air Traffic Management Services (ATM) organization.
Responsibilities
- Direct the efforts of a cross-functional team to support the consistent, disciplined application of appropriate program management tools and techniques across all agency initiatives, to include the development of program plans, schedules, risk registers and program metrics
- Provide management support for portfolio activities within the ATM organization
- Direct employees' efforts in performing research and analysis, developing engineering concepts and supporting customer program goals
- Adhere to quality control standards
- Coordinate with the COTR, federal customers and FAA executives to ensure smooth contract operation
- Build customer relationships and coordinate on project management level topics
- Manage project budget, verify invoice accuracy, submit monthly reports, oversee delivery of contractual requirements and deliverables
- Approve timesheets and expense reports
- Develop hiring requisitions, manage staffing plans, conduct performance reviews
Requirements
- Experience leading a development and engineering contract with a government agency to modernize the collection and delivery of information to end users
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of Mathematics/Engineering/Science
- Must have at least 15 years of experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent project or program management certification is required
- Experience leading development and engineering contract(s) with the FAA
Desired Skills
