Pre-Employment Testing Requirement


This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing. Please read the job description in its entirety for additional information on accessing the assessment. The assessment should be completed by Sunday, April, 16 2023.

Job Description


  • Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and do minor repairs while adhering to all environmental and safety policies

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Adhere to all environmental and safety policies
  • Be on the job at assigned time
  • Gauge tanks, read meters and record dataInspect equipment and facilities for problems and perform minor repairs
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental policies
  • Shoot fluid levels
  • Communicate with Production Foreman and other lease operators on a daily basis
  • Keep Company vehicle maintained and in good working condition
  • Coordinate oil sales and salt water hauling
  • Maintain electronic gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changes
  • Submit larger maintenance requests via computer work order system
  • Work around high pressure systems, well heads, flow lines, test separators etc.
  • Must be willing to work shift work
  • Must be able to work off schedule, with some holidays built into the schedule
  • Must be available for call outs on a scheduled basis; some overtime required

Expected Level of Proficiency


  • Ability to maintain, operate, and repair surface equipment associated with the production of oil and gas (e.g. heater treaters, valves and regulators, VRUs)
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills or similar software programs
  • Operational knowledge of how to utilize SCADA systems preferred
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills or similar software programs
  • Able to lift more than 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairways
  • Must be computer literate with good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be capable of using SCBA and associated safety equipment
  • Must be a team player

Pre-Employment Testing Guidance


This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing. After applying you will receive a pop up giving you access to the assessment. You may take the assessment at that time or utilize the instructions below to access the assessment at a time convenient for you. Note that the assessment must be completed by the deadline in order for you to be considered for the O&M position for which you have applied.

IMPORTANT

The O&M test has been revised. Effective December 1, 2021 ALL candidates must complete the revised assessment. Even if you have tested within the last 365 days (passed or failed), if you tested before December 1, 2021, you must complete the revised assessment to be considered for this O&M opportunity. Failure to complete the assessment by the deadline will result in your disqualification from consideration for this position. The assessment is the same for all O&M requisitions. If you have completed the assessment after December 1, 2021, your assessment results will be mapped to this requisition when you try to access the test. Test passed candidates will be screened by the hiring team and a subset invited for interview. Note that a satisfactory result on the assessment does not guarantee an interview.
