Important Information:

This is a weekend shift that provides a shift differential and overtime pay in addition to the hourly rate.

The hours of operation are from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm on Friday to Sunday.

Job Title

Under immediate supervision, the Production Worker 3 performs regular production duties and operates certain production machinery. The ultimate goal is to maintain a safe working environment with zero accidents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs regular production duties such as operating subassembly equipment, coating equipment, ovens, material handling equipment including hoists, cranes, tow motors, pallet trucks, and other miscellaneous equipment
  • Performs troubleshooting while operating equipment, including carrying out and documenting restricted preventative maintenance
  • Monitors, measures, and records quality assurance data such as dimensions, weight, or other specific information
  • Practices safe working habits, maintains a clean and safe working environment, and wears appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Tracks orders, moves material using appropriate equipment to allow for efficient and effective production processes
  • Understands and accurately follows specific detailed operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations
  • Follows specific quality criteria to maintain quality system requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as needed.

Job Requirements

Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent mix of relevant education and work experience that will allow the successful performance of job expectations is preferred.

Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent work experience in a related field

Years of Experience: 0-2 years of related experience

Abilities:

  • Skilled in the use of hand tools such as calipers, depth gauges, micrometers, and other measuring equipment and machinery

  • Ability to read various instructions

  • Ability to solve issues using existing procedures to carry out straightforward tasks

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficient computer skills
