The Role You Will Play: Production Control Specialist

[Production Planning]

• Initial point of contact for Customer production plan
• Monitor production plan change, irregular order and inform other departments

(Schedule, Capacity factors, Shift plan, Working hour, Order Volume, and Pilot vehicle order)

• Production plan adjustment with Customer as needed (in case of issues with solutions)
• Maintaining Data (Digital order) handling process and conduct contingency plan when having trouble with data (Short/Long Term Order, Sequence Order, and other data errors)

(EDI data type: Material Release, Just-In-Sequence (JIS) Preview, JIS Broadcast, Just-In-Time (JIT) VPDD and data change/delete)

• Maintain Work order Process and production information in MES (automated manufacturing system)

(Part List, Spec List, Scanning Barcode list, Operational information such as work hour allocation)

• Maintain JIS Lead time information (finishing shipping process within the given lead time)
• Manage and review the production capacity information from Supplier’s Portal

(ex. Daily max capability, Machine cycle time and number – AGV, wheel aligner)

• Monthly/Weekly production plan and result report (Production index analysis and improvement plan)
• Maintain the data accuracy in the production index system (System vs Actual)

[Plant Planning]

• Maintain Plant information and index
• Response to the requirements from Korean headquarter (Optional)
• Support/perform special project as necessary

[BOM/Engineering Change (EC) Control]

• Initial point of contact for EC including BOM (Part List and Spec) change
• SAP Material Master management – create part numbers and maintain info

(MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, Module number)

• Daily Order review (BOM – Part List and Spec List)
• Maintain SAP PP Module process and implementation

(LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)

• Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES (Part no, Material information, Effective Point Information)
• Manage EC part changes (EC alert, 1st sequence recording, EC communications internal/external)
• Maintain EC systems (G-EPI, SAP)

Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial System Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experienced in automotive assembly/manufacturing
• Working experience with Daimler (Mercedes-Benz)
• Skills to use CATIA program (drawing system)
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Analytic skills in engineering drawing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Basic experience with SAP
