Volt is now hiring for the position of Assembly Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling in a production environment. Candidate should be self-motivated, have a mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.

As Assembly Technician you will:
- Assemble electronic, optical, and casing components to very high standards
- Use in-house software tools and calibration rigs to calibrate products
- Maintain the highest quality standards and ensure that compliance with appropriate quality standards is maintained
- Ensure a tidy and organized working environment, including appropriate storage of stock
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Practical experience of assembly
- Lift 10 lbs daily and lift/move up to 50 lbs weekly
- Experience with Optical and Electronic Assembly
- Experience with Hand Soldering
- Knowledge of electronic component values (read reels, resistors, capacitors, etc.)
Based in Corvallis, Oregon,
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
$16.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
