Product Review Engineer Job at Cimarron Software
Cimarron is seeking Product Review Engineers to support a large aerospace and defense customer in Everett, WA. This position is supporting a 1-year contract.

Key Duties:
- Apply knowledge of client design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
- Analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
- Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
- Identify documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution.
- Develop and implement product/process improvements.
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews.
- Represent the engineering community in the build through post production environment.
- Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
- Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support team.
- Analyze damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage and assure a safe work environment.
- Design interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
- Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
- Conduct simple static strength analysis.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
- Current MRB or have had MRB in the last 5 years.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience, Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience, or Ph.D.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- 5 or more years’ of experience in an engineering discipline.
- 5 or more years’ of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams.
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in: Mechanical, Aerospace / Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Material Science Engineering.
- Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience.
- Aerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience.
- Production engineering experience.
- Relevant technological knowledge.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to lead, work independently and in a team environment.
