Roles & Responsibilities:- Update ERP, POs, RM Amendments, Material Price Adjustments, Long Term Agreements, and support the buying process for a given set of parts.
- Update Purchase Orders in regards to quantity, confirmation date, ship date, and delivery date.
- Support negotiations and allocate demands to specific suppliers.
- Provide inputs supporting evaluation and improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies & ensure best practices are used throughout the company.
- 3+ years' relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of sourcing, materials, manufacturing, supply chain or procurement experience
- 1+ years of experience in sourcing & procurement of Gas turbines/Aero Engine’s components
- Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with MS Office Suite.
- BS or associate’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED.
- Experience in ERP, Oracle tools. Experience with IMPACT is desirable.
- Support relationships with suppliers for PO execution, problems solving & schedule changes.
- Ability to interact with employees/managers at all levels with good oral and written communication skills
- Measure and analyze supplier performance, drive resolution on performance issues, drive Lean process improvements to mitigate and reduce fulfillment risks.
- Use multiple tools to negotiate best cost and technical package for procurement considering commodities, cost drivers, and leveraging available options, suppliers, inputs & volumes.
- Work with Fulfillment, Quality Engineer, Design Engineering, and other sourcing functions to improve on time delivery and reduce span on overdue materials.
- Provide inputs on value-adding opportunities from all areas of supply chain including Planning, Supplier Quality, Source Fulfillment and Sourcing Processes.
- Manage consistent operational excellence on the assigned Parts (i.e. metrics, partner interaction, OTD, Cost and responsiveness).
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
- Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
