What You'll Do:
We are currently seeking a Process Technician for the molding department at the DeMarini Bat factory in Hillsboro Oregon.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establish, monitor, and document processes for new and existing plastic parts.- Start up machines, robotics, and all auxiliary equipment associated with the work order.
- Troubleshoot quality and mechanical problems on the molding floor.
- Coordinate closely with process engineers, scheduling, and molding operators.
This role requires a High School Diploma or GED. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a process technician in injection molding or extrusion. Automation experience is preferred but not required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Other qualifications include:
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Understanding of scientific injection molding
- Mechanical aptitude and dexterity with hand tools
- Computer skills with Microsoft Excel and machine computer controls
- Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to maintain records and complete checklists accurately
- Maintenance skills for cleaning and lubricating molds and machinery
- Excellent communication with production scheduling, quality assurance and machine operators
