About the Position
The Management Analyst provides daily support to Process Improvement Supervisor. The individual in this role participates in the Process Improvement Team meetings, adding their voice to help steer strategic planning, policies, and procedures that advance District goals. This position will be required to attend meetings with District employees, lead small to medium projects, and report on process improvement results.

We Require
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Two years of project management, project administration, process improvement, or data analytics initiatives
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or project management, project administration, data analytics, or process improvement experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
  • Must possess, or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona Driver’s License
We Also Value
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies or tools such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with government agencies
Job Contributions
  • Leads, plans, and organizes process improvement projects, activities, and meetings
  • Identifies and pursues process improvement opportunities
  • Provides coaching and/or directs the work of less experienced staff.
  • Measures, analyzes, and determines activity effectiveness and measures/reports on process improvement success
  • Analyzes data and prepares reports and statistical materials for management review
  • Designs, organizes, and maintains specialized and custom forms, manuals, and logs to support process improvement
  • Develops policies, procedures and templates related to process improvement
  • Facilitates the development of training and informational materials to promote understanding of process improvement activities and requirements
Working Conditions
  • Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly OR requires walking or standing to a significant degree
  • Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
  • Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor, ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions
