Compensation: $18 - 19 / hour

Schedule:

-April 10th - May 29: Monday-Thursday, 11 am - 6 pm for both kids

-May 29 - August 1: Just the toddler; Monday - Thursday 1 pm - 6 pm

-After August 1, possible daytime care for the toddler only

About the Family: This family of 4 from California is relocating to Decatur and is seeking a nanny for their two children, ages 5 and 2. The ideal candidate will be easy going and enjoy outdoor activity time and creative play. The 5-year-old is independent so the care will primarily be for the toddler.

Qualifications:

- Experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children

- CPR certified or be willing to become certified

- At least 3 years of childcare experience

- 2-3 stellar references

- Clean background

- Reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

- Employ a variety of developmentally appropriate techniques

- Observe and get to know the children

- Guide the child to develop academically, creatively, socially, and emotionally

- Communicate with parents regularly about their child's development and experiences with you
