Rochelle ISD has an opening for a PK-12 Principal. Our campus principal will serve as the campus behavior coordinator as well as attendance administrator. Our faculty and staff seek an energetic leader that can foster school spirit while serving as our lead learner. We believe that our campus principal should be skilled in leadership, relationship-building, organization, communication, and goal setting. Our principal will continue to build on our collective successes using innovative, student-centered actions.
Candidates must have obtained a Masters degree in educational administration (or related field) and must presently have (or anticipate on soon acquiring) principal certification. Experience as a campus principal in rural communities is a plus but is not required. Salary is commensurate with experience. District housing is available and is minutes away from campus. The district pays $225 towards insurance, provides the possibility of a distinction Christmas Bonus, air-medical family coverage, and an inexpensive school employee daycare.
