We are looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our friendly and well-established family medicine practice. We have recently moved into an expanded office space with modern touches and technological features to improve the patient and physician experience. The ideal candidate for this position is a positive, energetic professional who is dedicated to providing quality medical care to the community. This candidate will also have professional experience in primary care, and will stay current with medical advances through continuing education and training.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, diseases, injuries, and conditions.
• Consult with patients to develop and update medical treatment plans.
• Generate and maintain medical documentation, including patient files, reports, and correspondence.
• Communicate with the patient's family members or other caregivers as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• 2 years of recent clinical work experience in primary care
• Current BLS certification
• Current DEA registration
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to focus on patient-centered outcomes
• Must be willing to work on a team

About Brookland, DC: Rapidly growing neighborhood in Northeast Washington, DC, full of a rich history dating back to before the Civil War. Nearby Catholic University and the 12th Street corridor offer plenty of food and culture options. A few blocks from the Maryland border. Walking distance to 2 Metro Stations on the Red and Green lines(Brookland/CUA and Ft. Totten).

Pay: $159,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
