Press Operator Job at Hughes Resources Inc.
Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is a 100+ year old manufacturing facility and leader in their product supply chain. They are looking for ambitious individuals to join their team in the Press Operator department.
Basic Job Function:
- Set-up and operate a steel stamping machine
- Examine object visually at end of each process to determine thickness of metal deposit and/or measure thickness
- Use handheld instruments, such as micrometer or calipers to perform visual inspections
- Maintain excellent and continuous communication with supervisors and team leaders
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic
- Basic math skills
- Basic measuring skills
- Blueprint reading ability
- Ability to read precision measuring tools
- Working knowledge of machinery
Pay: $16.00-17.00/hour
