Go Fast Manufacturing in Shiocton, WI is looking for one press brake operator to join our 40 person strong team. We are located on N3752 Drier Rd.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
Press Break Operator
Full-Time: M-Th 6:00am-430pm
PAY: $20 -29 per hour

Job Summary:
A press brake operator’s job is to operator all press brake machines (to bend sheet metal for various designs. In this role, you may inspect blueprints for a job, set up your machine, perform regular maintenance, inspect metals while shaping it, and adjust as necessary.
Job Duties:
- Must be able to set up and run in one of the fabrication work areas
- Understands how to manage daily work expectations and goals
- Follows all safety policies and standards
- Maintains accurate and timely system transactions
- Can inspect and clean equipment including all preventative maintenance
- Inspects own work for quality standards
- Restock materials
- Program your machine to fit the design
- Read blueprints from designers and engineers
- Set up and operate a brake press for established jobs
- Select programs and install tooling into machine for operation
- Routinely prepare metals for fabrication
- Unload finished metal parts into basket/skid
- Reading and interpreting traveler/router with job instructions
- Physical requirements – candidate must stand for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively. Must have good balance along with hand-eye-foot coordination.
- Willingness to operate a forklift
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree or certificate from a vocational school (preferred)
Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use power and hand shears, Do-All saws, brakes, nibblers, punch press, turret
- punch press, drill presses, radial drills, etc;
- Ability to troubleshoot problems as they occur.
- Must be self-motivated, team player and have good written and oral communication
- skills.
- to read and understand blueprints
- Demonstrated detail orientation and critical thinking skills
- Analytical skills
Experience:
- Experience working with industrial machines is preferred
- A minimum 2+ years’ work experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong metal press forming and fabrication background, at least 1 year preferred
- Experience operating Cincinnati press brakes preferred
- Previous fabrication experience preferred, but not required

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $29.00/hour.
