We are seeking a Divisional President for our North American Mobile Medical business (AMST). The selected candidate will be based out of University Park, Illinois and have direct oversight for our Advanced Mobility & Shelter Technologies (AMST) business, including its mobile medical field service operation, and will have responsibilities to coordinate key sales, marketing and operations. This business employs 180+ individuals and produces revenue currently in excess of $55 Million annually. This position will report to the Kentucky Trailer CEO, Gary Smith.The Divisional President will be responsible for driving organizational change – aligning people, processes, and products – that delivers the strategic plan and timeline set in partnership with the Kentucky Trailer CEO. This will include developing and supporting strategic direction, priorities and roadmaps that drive revenue expansion with new and existing customers through a relentless focus on customer service and operational excellence while achieving profitable growth.
- Create a Safety First and Always Culture and champion safety across all levels of the organization with a spirit of continuous improvement toward the goal of an incident free workplace.
- Deliver against financial targets (including earnings and free cash flow generation, net working capital and ROI on capital expenditures)
- Own development and achievement of financial forecasts
- Create a servant leadership, collaborative, continuous improvement-based culture across all functional areas of the Company.
- Develop and communicate a vision with the team that outlines a strategic path to value and timeline for the KT CEO. Clearly communicate plans and progress to the CEO.
- Develop, upgrade, and lead a best-in-class diverse team. Foster inclusive and collaborative teamwork, and provide guidance, coaching and feedback while holding talent accountable at all levels.
- Lead the growth strategy with a primary focus on key customer relationships while creating/aligning the organization culture and company infrastructure to exceed targets for revenue and EBITDA.
- Ensure that the Company’s products, operations, and customer service meet and exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding quality products and excellent service in an efficient and profitable manner.
- Drive automation that enables strategic priorities.
- Provide oversight for the overall administration, coordination, and execution of the Company’s business activities.
- Must be an engaged, working leader who is able to balance day-to-day organization focus with strategic initiatives
First Year Goals and Deliverables:
- Achieve AOP results of $68M with $8.3M in OI and 12.2% ROS.
- Initiate and Promote a Culture of Excellence thru Servant Leadership.
- Establish an inclusive Lean Culture.
- Identify and Implement scalable organizational business systems.
- Support and achieve corporate goals
Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, MBA a plus
· 15+ years of executive leadership
· Full P&L ownership
· Deep experience building CI capabilities and culture (Lean, TOC, visual management, etc.)
· Experience with similar MTO products (low volume / high mix)
· Leading teaching and developing others
· Clear communicator – translate strategy into specific team objectives
· Exceptional commercial acumen and customer relationship building skills
· Ability to optimize operations to deliver for customers and drive growth
