Teachers must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) or higher
• Be willing to complete a background check, drug screen, and TB test
• Have open availability

Ideal candidates would:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a CDA, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree in a field related to education
• Have 3+ year experience in ECE or a related field
• Have 3+ year experience in an ECE center setting
• Be familiar with Creative Curriculum lesson planning and implementation

Job requirements may include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining national, state, and local licensing requirements
• Classroom maintenance and upkeep/organizing
• Creation and implementation of curriculum and lesson plans
• Interactions with children aged 2-5 years
• Ability to manage a classroom in an ECE setting
• Ability to redirect young children in a positive manner
• Assistance with diapering/toileting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic technological skills
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift children up to age 6
• Willingness to obtain 20+ hours of ongoing education annually

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
