Job Description

Fulltime: Teacher for ages 1-5 years old

Hourly rate: $15.00-$16.00 an hour

Additional training and credential incentive: Starting pay of $16.00 an hour for candidates that have a Florida Director's credential or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Education related.

Benefits: 5 paid days after 1 year of service. Tuition assistance for continuing education, child care assistance, off from work the week of Christmas and New years Eve, employee holiday BONUS, annual performance review and working in a friendly, family oriented school.

Please read carefully, Candidate must have:

1. DCF childcare 45 hour courses and exams completed

2. Must have a current CDA certificate or equivalent credential, or in the process of obtaining one.

3. Completed Level 2 background check through the Clearing house

4. Have Pediatric CPR/ First Aid training

5. Have a current physical and TB risk assessment completed by licensed physician.

Job Description: Friendly, well-organized and energetic teacher to educate children between the ages of 1 and up. Provide a loving, nurturing, learning atmosphere and work with each child individually on their current learning stage. Partner with parent/guardians on child's progress. Must be tech savvy; teachers are required to operate a mobile application that gives each parent a report of their child's day.

Job responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

* Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers and partner with parents on toilet training

* Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, social skills, cognitive development, fine motor and gross motor skills

* Plan and organize activities in advanced; lead activities that are designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling and more

*Clean and organize classroom; Sanitize toys, surfaces and floors. Clean restrooms.

* Attend monthly staff meetings. Teachers are required to prepare lesson plans a month in advance. Teacher must also provide a list of supplies needed for lesson plan.

* Must be able to lift 40 pounds continuously throughout the day

Work Experience and Education:

* Minimum of 1 year experience as a preschool teacher in the state of Florida, must have solid references or college education and training

All staff are required to wear a mask and clean toys and surfaces throughout the day.
