Job Title: Pre-Certification Rep
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
Hours: Days 8a-5p - Monday - Friday
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- 1 Year experience as an Insurance Specialist or equivalent hospital pre-certification/utilization role (Required)
- Seeking candidates with experience in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and outpatient surgical procedures. In particular, experience with gastro, urology, and orthopedics. (Required)
Pre-Certification Rep Job Summary:
This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties.
Responsible to confirm the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and Third Party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.
