Multi-site Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Center, NYC.
Onsite (Upper East Side) with travel to all locations as needed, weekly.
OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the organization, supervision, and overall operations, finances and financial health of medical practices/surgery centers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the financial operations on a day-to-day basis.
- Evaluates key financial metrics & performance indicators to drive success.
- Manages the PMs.
- Oversees, the hiring of both office & clinical staff and identifies/implements ways to attract & retain top talent.
- Continually evaluates supplies, equipment, all orders.
- Negotiates with vendors to ensure costs are within budget.
- Tasked to improve, monitor and manage the financial health of the practice.
- Provides strategic direction and makes recommendations on pricing, cost reductions, new initiatives.
- Reviews, reconciles & balances daily & oversees all patient/ insurance collections and bank deposits to help influence profitability.
- Oversees and approves ordering and maintenance of all supplies, equipment, and cosmetic products.
- Initiates and oversees marketing activities & develops/maintains relationships with key referring physicians, practice managers and vendors.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree (finance preferred).
- MBA preferred.
- 5-7+ yrs of financial and operational experience managing physician practices.
- Financial experience is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role
- Experience managing a successful independently run physician owned practice and improving financials.
- Experience understanding and managing revenue cycle.
- Experience auditing financials for a multi-site Outpatient Center.
- Manager must also be computer literate and able to operate multiple Microsoft Office applications.
