Job Summary

Plant Operator position will be responsible for manufacturing the hot mix asphalt to mix design specs as well as serve both our inside and outside customers. The operator will also be responsible for troubleshooting all issues and maintain plant calibration.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain general safety for plants and personnel.
  • Manage all production schedules for this specific plant.
  • Manage all stock materials.
  • Communication to management regarding all plant issues.
  • Train current / new employees on all plant operations and procedures including maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Operate plant equipment such as Front-end Loader, skid steer and other mobile equipment in a safe manner according to the safety policy.

Education

  • High School or Vocational School graduate

Skills

  • Some experience with heavy equipment and or asphalt plants.
  • Good mechanical aptitude when it comes to repairing / fabricating equipment.
  • Highly motivated and Self Starter.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Able to perform all physical requirements of the position.
