Porters BBQ is hiring a Pit Master to lead our fun and successful restaurant crew!

You Have:

• Passion. For the Foundation’s mission, nature, environmental stewardship, and people.
• Experience. You have at least two years of experience in fast- casual restaurants and are at least 19 years old
• A love for working on your feet. You have the ability to stand/walk for designated shift and you are able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Adaptability. You thrive on multitasking, excelling in a fast-paced environment and working to make processes run smoothly.
• Great communication and customer service skills. Have a love for working with guests!

You Will:

• Manage the meat and other food items in the smoker, monitoring quality
• Learn the recipes and keep an inventory of prepared foods up to the requisite level
• Deliver positive and constructive communication
• Follow all recipes, portions, and work instructions as defined or instructed
• Maintain and care for the smoker maintenance
