Middleton Mechanical LLC is currently seeking a Pipeline Fusion Technician with a minimum of 1-year experience. At Middleton Mechanical we have grown over the past 13 years from two employees and a rusted-out van to a well-respected leader in our field. Responsibilities of a Pipeline Fusion Technician
- Safely operate any assigned equipment
- Pre-trip equipment prior to operation of equipment. Check and maintain fluids and grease vehicles as directed or appropriate
- Load material or equipment for transport from job site to job site and secure as appropriate
- Participate in job hazard analysis on daily basis or as often as conditions change
- Place, remove or maintain underground utilities as directed. This includes laborer duties such as carrying pipe, bags of material and other heavy items, jack hammering, shoveling, tamping and fusing pipe
- Assist in securing work site, equipment and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materials
- Ability to travel all over the state of Ohio
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications of a Pipeline Fusion Technician
- Proficient in joining polyethylene pipe by means of butt fusion and electrofusion with ZERO failures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
