Dogwood Medical Group (DMG) is seeking a qualified and caring Physician Assistant for a growing primary care office in Gainesville, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a thorough history and physical exam on patients
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Diagnose and treat patients
• Prescribe and monitor appropriate medications
• Counsel patients on disease specific diet and lifestyle modifications
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists
• Utilize Athena electronic medical records for all facets of patient care
• Respond to patient messages in a timely manner
• Maintain and update patient’s pertinent health screenings and quality metrics
• Perform virtual visits when appropriate
• Work well with other office staff as a team to provide excellent care for our patients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• State PA License
• NPI and DEA numbers
