Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is seeking a benefits-eligible *Physical Therapist* to work in Integrated & Self-Contained classes in our early childhood program in Manhattan (UES) serving children aged 3 to 5 years. ABC has been dedicated to ensuring that every child has a joyful, healthy, and safe life through compassionate and innovative programs since 1986. Physical Therapists provide services at competitive rates with increased reimbursement available for in-person home-based visits conducted in select neighborhoods. *Responsibilities *of the Physical Therapist*:* * Work individually and collaboratively with the child and family to assess motor development and/or target goals to improve gross motor skills that are detailed in the IFSP * Work collaboratively with the family to assist, plan, and implement strategies in the home environment, adapting physical tasks and devices that correlate to gross motor functioning * Relay information to caregivers regarding child’s performance, home strategies, and progressWork collaboratively with other service providers * Complete required documentation that demonstrates family centered practice and submit required documentation within mandated timelines *Qualifications *of the Physical Therapist: * NYS licensed Physical Therapist * Experience with birth-age 3 population * Approved or eligible for NYS DOH EI Provider Agreement * Evaluators must have experience with NYS DOH EI approved tools such as the PDMS-2, HELP Checklist 0-3, and AIMS; (have sample evaluations ready to submit upon request (minimum 2)); and complete EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment Trainings * Being joyous with children and maintaining high standards, non-negotiable. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred *Benefits *for ABC Staff: * W-2 position with insurance benefits! * Medical insurance: EPO, PPO, and Health Savings Account (HSA) plans * Dental insurance * Vision insurance (base premiums covered by employer) * Life insurance * 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions * Commuter benefits * Attend an annual organization-wide event in September * Parental leave (maternity and paternity) * 30 PTO days accrued _per year (full-time)_!
