Job Description: The pharmacy technician assists the pharmacist in preparing and distributing medication, maintain the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
Qualifications:
CHPT preferred
Valid licensure by the State of Ilinois Department of Professional Regulation is required.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
Experience with 340B Drug Program preferred.
